Stuff is such a weird word. Have you ever thought about it? It's like, "Schtuff." Where did we ever get that from? ANYWAY.
I've been getting some questions recently about what camera I have, what lenses I use, what I use to edit my photos and stuff. Haha. So that's what this post is for! To HOPEFULLY answer some of those questions for ya!
CAMERA + LENS
I use a Canon 5D and 50mm f/1.8 lens. I'm planning on renting the 50 1.2 for an upcoming wedding and I also enjoy using the 24-70 mm f/2.8 but I don't own either. ;)
EDITING PROGRAM
I use Lightroom 3! Best thing that has ever happened to me. I own Photoshop CS4 but it's kind of been getting dusty ever since I got Lightroom. People often ask me why I like Lightroom better. I say that Lightroom is more photographer geared. Photoshop is great for some editing purposes. It really and truly is. But Lightroom has more features that are helpful for a photographer. For example, batch editing capabilities. I can edit one photo, and then press one button and all of the photos with the same lighting as the original photo I edited, will get the same editing. Boom baby.
MARKETING
Facebook is one of my biggest marketing tools. My website is also a big deal. Aaand exciting news of the week? I just got new business cards!! I know some of you have seen the teaser I put up on Facebook so below is some more pictures and info about them. You're welcome.
I use Moo to print my business cards. They are on their new Luxe paper which is amazing. It's like holding a toasted bagel with butter it's that wonderful. They have great service, reasonable prices, and I'm definitely satisfied. (Cue cheesy smile!)
