the big city // adventure

A city is a place where there is no need to wait for next week to get the answer to a question, to taste the food of any country, to find new voices to listen to and familiar ones to listen to again.

I must say I am not a big city person. Taxis scare me, lots of people running around, those freaky fire escape staircases.  I'll take a country back road please.

However, Tulsa seemed different. Walking around with some of my favorite people, exploring the historical sights made it feel different. Like an adventure. What can I say, I had lots of revelations on this trip.

And maybe, holding this one's hand the whole time helped a little bit too. ;)

If you have been wondering why I have been posting every day for the past few, it's because on June 4th, I am off on a huge adventure: a missions trip. I'll be gone for two months. TWO. MONTHS. Nine weeks actually.

I have made the decision to not post on this blog while I am gone. I will however be keeping up a journal of sorts over HERE so follow along please!! :)

I'll be back, Lord willing, in August with more exciting material and lovely stories. So stay here, I'll just be going on a bit of a break starting June 4. I'm excited. It will be the most amazing adventure of them all. Thank you for all of your encouraging words + prayers regarding this trip. I really really do appreciate it.
