the long + short of it workshop // past + future

Last September, I had the privilege of welcoming five girls into my family’s home for a photography workshop. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but what that weekend held exceeded anything I could have ever dreamed of. We all bonded over photography, Starbucks, and dreaming big things. We learned about storytelling + being authentic + how to run a photoshoot. And we were all close to tears Monday morning when everyone had to go back home.

This workshop turned into more than a workshop. It turned into a place where honesty was king. Where ideas bounced out of our brains and off of walls and onto paper. We edited photos and each of the girls began to see their photography style grow + flourish. It was humbling to watch it unfold before my eyes.

And we get to do it all over again. I’m so incredibly excited to announce the Long + Short of It Workshop for March 2014. Cue the exclamation points and marching band!! The application is here + is due January 24. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at elliebephotography(at)gmail(dot)com or check out my post announcing my last workshop for more details. :)

I seriously wish I could go but I'm both short on money and I'm a college student, so it definitely won't happen.
